staff was lovely, food was great, service was quick, HOWEVER the manager/boss was at the restaurant and was incredibly demanding and rude to his staff. He yelled “oi listen to me f*cks sake” infront of me and other customers… was overall off putting. Otherwise recommend but beware of the white guy with the receding hairline :)
Used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant. Good environment and food was really tasty a few years ago. But now the quality and taste of their food is below average. Matcha drink don’t have any matcha taste. Mushy rice + curry very salty.
So proud of the owners here. I always recommend Wagaya to anyone coming through! Lovely staff, a HUGE menu!
