This was our first “true pub experience” in Ireland winding up here on a weekend evening with live entertainment. The food, music, and service were all great. We DID learn that Irish pubs don’t typically do anything to rush you out like bring you your bill. You’ll likely have to work your way through the crowd to get to the bar register to ask for a final tally.
One of the best made Fish and Chips I have ever eaten. Fresh, not greasy fish, perfect fries and salad. Very nice service. Now I know why this place has such good opinions, I will definitely come back there again. For me 6/5!
Great food, a warm welcome wonderful service. A wonderful experience and a must go-to when in Oughterard. The best fish and chips and as for the Guinness you just have to taste it. Loved it. The owner Rory is on the floor with his staff as one, meeting, greeting and serving creating a truly warm welcome. Don't miss it.
